Ruth Anne Koenick

Ruth Anne Koenick, has worked in the field of violence against women for over 45 years. Founder and past president of the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault, she served in campus, state and national capacities including a member of the ACPA Presidential Task Force on Sexual Violence in Higher Education. Recipient of many awards including the NJCASA Lifetime Achievement and honored as a “milestone of the 20th century” by the Feminist Majority Foundation. She served as the national expert in the creation of the first CAS Standard on Sexual and Relationship Violence, has publications focusing on college women, bystander intervention, and theater in primary prevention work.
