Julie educates hundreds of students about prevention of interpersonal violence and dating violence, as well as Bystander Intervention. She became passionate about empowering survivors and preventing violence while earning her bachelor’s and Master of Public Administration degrees at the University of Delaware. Prior to working at Rutgers, Julie was a volunteer Victim Advocate at UD for two years through the Sexual Offense Support (S.O.S.) program. She was the Graduate Assistant for the Blue Hen Leadership Program and student founder of the Biden Institute’s Make It Count civic engagement initiative. Julie is a new professional in the violence prevention field.
