Campus Free Speech Program Coordinator, PEN America
Adeline is the program coordinator of PEN America’s Campus Free Speech Initiative, where she works to promote dialogue and understanding among speech advocates, academics, cultural critics, and student leaders at the forefront of campus movements across the country. In 2017-18, building off PEN’s landmark And Campus for All report, she worked closely with senior leaders of four campuses (U.C. Berkeley, Middlebury College, University of Virginia, and University of Maryland)—each grappling with major speech and race-related incidents—to convene tailored campus dialogues among diverse students, faculty, and administrators. Lee is an alumna of Wellesley College and the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
